Knott Street Boxing Inc.
About
Knott St. Boxing has been operating in the heart of North Portland for over fifty years, and has been an integral part of one of Portlands most culturally vibrant and historic nieghborhoods. With a history rooted in the local community as much as it has been marked by accomplished amateur and professional champions who had their beginnings at Knott St., we continue to remain a club that emphasises both competition and community.

We are a non-profit organization that is hosted in the Matt Dishaman Community center. When events do not permit access to the building (e.g. during COVID or during the occassional closure of the community center), and sometimes just because we do our team work-outs outdoors at Dawson park located one block away from the community center. We are always accepting new members, both those interested in competition and those who are more interested in the physical and mental benefits of a rigorouos and disciplined workout in a team environment. Regardless of whether a member chooses to compete, we consider all of our members to be fighters.

Head coach Stanley Dunn has been running Knott St. gym for over seventeen years. Rain, sleet, or snow, building or no building, Stanley has remained committed to giving his time and efforts to his fighters.
