Knott Street Boxing Inc. is a non-profit organization hosted in the Matt Dishman Community center, the support of which allows us to stay in operation while charging minimal monthly fees ($20) to our members, some of which may come from low-income and disadvantaged areas and who may benefit from having an constructive outlet like boxing as well as from being a part of a supportive community. This also allows us to overcome the pressure which has caused so many 'old-school' boxing gyms today to convert to trendy work-out studios while throwing genuine boxing on the back-burner. We mostly use funds to by equipment and travel to tournaments when the opportunity arises.
